THE
WASTE BOOK

We are happy to present our first product, our flagship: The Waste Book.
For its user, it becomes a point of contact where everything begins.

A companion to thought.
An extension of memory.

An object within the reach of our hand, designed to capture everything we want to record instantly. Raw snippets that might otherwise be lost when we choose to reach for our phone instead.

Questions we asked ourselves while creating it: What do we really need this little black book companion for?

Q: What am I supposed to do with it?
A: Use it for everything you want to capture quickly. Write notes. Draw. Make lists. Record ideas. Collect references. Save thoughts for later. This is THE WASTE BOOK, a traditional notebook for unfinished thinking. Not everything written here needs to be important. Some notes will grow into projects; others will remain fragments.
Q: What is it for?
A: It is a tool for unloading thoughts. Ideas, reminders, sketches, questions, observations, plans, fragments of conversations. Anything that would otherwise remain trapped in your mind or immediately disappear into a digital device. This notebook is meant to stand between you and your phone. Its purpose is to help you express more information than you consume, shifting the balance from passive intake to active creation.
Q: Why does it look like this?
A: Because it is designed to emulate the object most of us hold in front of our faces for hours every day. It has the same size and proportions as a smartphone, allowing it to live in the same place: your pocket. Wherever your phone goes, this notebook goes too. The idea is simple: replace a small portion of your screen time with thinking, writing, and observing.
Q: What are the benefits?
A: Writing by hand engages the brain differently than typing. It strengthens memory, improves focus, and encourages deeper processing of information. Paper invites a slower, more deliberate form of thinking. Unlike glass and aluminum, it carries a tactile quality that feels natural (paper > tree) and human. The pages are made from high-quality, acid-free ecological paper suitable for fountain pens. The cover is produced from durable premium paper stock that can be marked, personalized, and aged alongside its owner.
Q: Why is the cover soft?
A: Because the human mind is flexible. A notebook should be, too. It bends, adapts, travels, and changes with its owner. May your thinking remain just as flexible. Over time, scratches, notes, stains, and wear become part of its story. In the spirit of the Japanese concept of wabi-sabi, the notebook is not meant to remain perfect. It is meant to accompany you through life and become more personal with use.

We spent over a year developing and testing the most functional and compact Waste Book on a market. We’re proud to see that it works, and this is just the beginning of the journey, just like some of the things noted in it may be the beginning of new projects. Please take a look at our introduction video. And please contact us if you have any suggestions or ideas. We’d love to hear from you.

Whenever your feel like to reach for your phone
to remember, save, search, or note something down,
consider reaching for this notebook first.

Which one will you reach for first?
